Since this is unofficially the subscription box channel, I’m doing an unboxing and review of the Creative Notions Quilt Shop Subscription Box.
$35 / month (U.S. shipping included)
Each box includes: 8 fat quarters or maybe a panel and 6 fat quarters (hint hint)
A charm from Pin Peddlers – after 6 months you receive a bracelet or pin for your charms
A notion or two, maybe a pattern – it’s a surprise wait and see!

Thank you Vickie for sharing two of the latest subscription boxes with me here at the Sewing Report!
FTC Disclosure: Products featured in this video were sent to me for free to try out, but were NOT provided in exchange for a review/video. I was not compensated by Creative Notions Quilt Shop.
NEW SEWING REPORT POLICY:
https://www.sewingreport.com/contact-us/submit-newstip/
Moving forward, brands/companies/people who send me items to review will NOT be guaranteed coverage by the Sewing Report, nor will they have any editorial control over any content I do produce. If I love it and there is value for you to know about it, I’ll talk about it on SewingReport.com and on my YouTube channel.
Free products in exchange for a video/social media post – this is very common in the blogging/vlogging world. What’s also pretty standard is to dictate or request HOW content is presented, sometimes even in videos or blog posts that aren’t sponsored. Having full creative license is something I will not relinquish.
Coming from a journalism background, that is not a generally accepted practice and I aim to make that an ethical standard here at the Sewing Report. Yes, sometimes I am sent free stuff as a blogger/vlogger. But I do not want the fact that it was given to me influence the way I treat coverage. I will always disclose whether or not I paid for an item, but will be declining freebies if the provider is unwilling to follow these guidelines.

Wanda Barefoot says
As a retired reviewer of Christian novels I can honestly say that I never had any authors or publishers dictate my review of their products. Although, if I had, I would have taken this exact same stance. It’s nice to get free stuff but I always held to the standard, “If you want an honest review, send me your stuff, If not, find someone else.” I applaud you for holding true to your beliefs. 🙂
