Seriously Hancock Fabrics, how can you do this to me???
Out of all the brick and mortar stores for fabric and sewing supplies, you were always my #1.
Jo-Ann’s is always too crazy and the line for the cutting table is just insane – especially on a weekend.
Michaels doesn’t offer much to the sewing enthusiast.
Hobby Lobby is my #2, but only because it’s the closest fabric store to my house.
Yes, I see your home page announcement and that depressing “going out of business” banner.
I don’t care that it’s 20-50 percent off every item – your sales were usually that good when you WEREN’T going out of business.
Do you have to close?
After I moved farther away from one of your Atlanta area stores, I still did my best. Shopped on your website for fabric, interfacing, and supplies. I really did love you.
My husband, James, really likes Hancock Fabrics also – he even told an employee it was his “new favorite store.”
He purchased your denim to make a pair of jeans, which he wore all the time until the waistband separated from one of the legs.
Today I will wear black to mourn the loss of your store, and light a candle tonight in your memory.
And of course, I will always treasure my Preferred Customer Card.
Thank you from a loyal customer.
